The Crappy Reviewer: Cyberbu//yWell, looks like it's time for another review.
So, if you haven't guessed, my original review was going to be of Aquamarine. But then I realized that it was utterly pointless, since it was a girl's movie, however, I will review a movie that tricked girls into feeling emotions. Cyberbully.
First off, let me just say that for the record, I do think cyberbully causes tragedies to friends and family, and it's sad that trolls, or possibly assholes would do that to innocent people. It's best to ignore it, or block the user. However, how THIS movie executes it, is perhaps the most dumbest way possible.
Now, if you remember my original Top 10 Most Hated Characters list, the main character of this movie, Taylor, was in it, and it was because I watched Big Al's review of it. Now, I understand that I'm not a credible reviewer if I don't find the flaws myself, but believe me, I TRY to be as original as I can, and try to find other flaws myself. Now, there will be flaws that Big Al pointed out in h
Boyhood Review (SOME SPOILERS)So, I ended up watching Transformers: Age Of Extinction last month, and boy, was it crap. But then again, I ended up watching reviews for it, which possibly affected my opinion. However, even if I knew what to expect, it was still a waste of 3 hours.
Why do I bring this up? Because two hours ago, I came out of another movie experience that was 3 hours, which was obviously, Boyhood.
Now, ever since I found out about this movie in January, to when Sundance was still happening, I wanted to see this movie, because not only did it have a great concept, it was directed by Richard Linklater, who made Tape, Waking Life, and School Of Rock, which were all movies I loved. However, I never was fond of Dazed and Confused. So, when I found out this was coming to theaters in July, this was the movie I was most hyped for for the summer, BESIDES Godzilla.
Now, since I finally saw it, here are my thoughts on the movie:
Now, because you don't know, I am not fond of films that are nothing but people talk
The Crappy Reviewer: Channel ChasersAlright, so after recovering from that abysmal FOP movie, it's time to review something good. And by that, we mean, the same show that the movie was based off of.
So, if you can recall, GUTT nearly broke all logic from the series, and crushed it into pieces of dust. I mean, this was written by the SAME creator of the show, plus Scott Fellows, who wrote JOHNNY freakin' TEST, yet wrote Ned's Declassified, one of the best modern Nick shows out there. But seriously, there was no reason for Butch to derail almost all the characters like that. But moving on.
So this review will cover a special that was during FOP's prime, even if they did give us It's A Wishful Life. And by that, I mean, the main entray of the series, Channel Chasers. Yeah, Abra-Castrophe was great, but this one was pretty much the show's best writing out of the entire series. So without further ado, let's get this over with.
So we start the movie with an actually intense scene. It's two boys getting chased by a ninja, and y
1998 Movie Reviews (Ones I've Seen So Far)Because my other review is still in progress, I just decided to do an entire journal of reviewing films, from a specific year. Now, I wasn't born until the very end of 1998, but looking at the movie industry that year, it was full of a lot of blockbusters, or at least until the next year with The Matrix, Toy Story 2 and others..
So, I decided to compile all the films I've of 1998, (so far...), and review them. So here we go:
Half Baked (January 16)
Boy, this one is odd. The film stars Dave Chappelle as a janitor who is also a stoner, who two other friends, and himself, have to bust out their friend in jail after over feeding, yet killing a diabetic horse. Alright, so this film is classified under being a cult classic, but for me, it's well... alright for being a cult classic. I mean, the humor isn't piss-myself laughing comedy, but for a stoner film, I guess it works.
Dark City (February 27)
But after a weird stoner movie, we get what is perhaps my favorite Sci-Fi movie of a
The Crappy Reviewer: A Fairly Oddmovie..
.Okay, because I am a reviewer on Deviantart, and after weeks of thinking about the new review, it's time to tackle this piece of crap...
Believe me when I say, that this is the 2nd time I have reviewed this, because the other one was accidentally deleted, while trying to post it. So now, I have to sit through...THIS...again.
So here's my introduction, I am the Crappy Reviewer, and...I hate this movie.
It was already bad enough that Nickelodeon never cancelled FOP yet, even though the show has already lost it's touch, EVEN before the baby was born. But they just had to green light this piece of shit.
Now, this was made a year after The Last Airbender, and just like that movie, it fails to live up to the series, because even though this is supposed to be a live-action continuity of the series, it fails due to...you know what, you will find out in this review.
So the movie begins with a view over Timmy's room, which for some reason, compared to what Timmy's room looks like from the carto
what love is not.it was a s l o p p y first kiss where
my drunk lips fumbled against yours.
the dull thwack of my heart,
locked behind curved ribs
cleared my groggy brain,
clouded with lustful premonitions.
it was an e l e c t r i f y i n g first kiss where
you entwined your hands in my hair.
your mouth encompassed mine and
my breath became lost in the steady
of your chest.
it was a s h y first kiss where
i pulled away before you could explore.
your tongue grazed my teeth,
searching for a way past the ivory gates.
i dug my finger into the stubble along your jaw,
my nail lulling your carnal desires.
it was my first kiss with you.
